The Links Golf Course at Las Palomas | Casago Rocky Point

About

Widely regarded as the most popular golf course in Rocky Point, The Links at Las Palomas opened in 2006 on Sandy Beach. This par 72, 18-hole course is the only true Links-style course in all of Mexico. Designed by renowned architects Forrest Richards and Arthur Jack Snyder, it features 5 par 3s, 8 par 4s, and 5 par 5s.

The Course

Nestled among the sand dunes of the Sonoran Desert and overlooking the Sea of Cortez, this challenging layout offers stunning views of the Pinacate Biosphere, mountains, and sparkling ocean. The course includes 6 large water hazards and plenty of strategic sand traps, with water often running alongside fairways or guarding greens.

Fairways are covered in lush, salt-tolerant Sea Grass Paspalum, while the tiered and breaking greens provide an extra test of skill. The Links is open to the public daily at 7 a.m. year-round, with Tuesdays off. Rates vary by season, and credit cards are accepted. Gift certificates are also available at the pro shop.

Driving Range & Snack Bar

Warm up at the driving range, which includes a chipping and putting green stocked with practice balls. The pro shop features a snack bar, bar area, and a great selection of golf apparel, clubs, bags, balls, gloves, and shoes. On-course bar cart service and snacks keep you refreshed during your round.

Lessons & Rentals

Private lessons are available by appointment. Don’t have clubs? No problem — they offer rental sets for both men and women, including left- and right-handed options.

Tournaments

The Links hosts multiple golf tournaments throughout the year. Whether you’re planning a corporate outing or a friendly group event, the staff can handle everything from pre-round breakfast and on-course lunch to an awards dinner. They also provide locally made trophies, plaques, and prizes — no need to bring bulky items from home. Their professional team ensures a smooth, memorable experience.

Discounts & Rules

Summer brings several discounted packages, and there’s a weekly Ladies Day where you can join or form your own foursome. Dress code requires collared shirts (no jeans), one set of clubs per player, and no outside alcohol.
