About

Islas del Mar is a beautiful master-planned beachfront community that combines luxury living with one of Rocky Point’s most scenic golf experiences. Spend a peaceful morning on the course surrounded by wildlife, sparkling Sea of Cortez views, and serene saltwater lagoons.

The Jack Nicklaus Golf Course

Golfers love the Jack Nicklaus Golf Course at Islas del Mar. This challenging layout features stunning views of the Sea of Cortez and the surrounding lagoons. Although it has only 9 physical holes, it plays as a full 18-hole course thanks to different tee box placements that create variety on each round.

Every hole is bordered or surrounded by water, with desert terrain on the opposite side and elevated greens that keep things exciting. It’s a fantastic venue for golf tournaments, and the staff does an excellent job organizing everything from start to finish.

After your round, relax at the on-site clubhouse restaurant for breakfast or lunch while enjoying the beautiful views.

Rates (very reasonable for a Jack Nicklaus-designed course):

  • 9 holes: $40
  • 18 holes: $60
  • Juniors: $20 (for 9 or 18 holes)

Twilight rates: Golf for $35 starting at 3:00 PM.

Islas del Mar Community

  • Las Mareas: Villas with Sea of Cortez views
  • Vista Dorado: 21 lots available for custom homes

Each phase features its own 22,000 sq ft amenity center. The development includes 148 acres of saltwater lagoons, with a mix of single-level and multi-level residences built with high-quality materials and thoughtful floor plans.
