About

Santo Coyote Ocean Cantina is quickly becoming one of Rocky Point’s standout dining spots. Tucked inside Encantame Towers on Playa Encanto, it delivers fresh, high-quality Mexican fare with warm, attentive service and stunning ocean views.

Getting There

The restaurant sits about 15 minutes outside central Rocky Point at Encantame Towers. At the main gate, simply mention you’re dining at Santo Coyote Ocean Cantina. Follow the paved road in, park in the lot to the left of the lobby, then walk past the lobby toward the back of the property. You’ll find the pools and the cantina waiting there.

Reservations are required. Book ahead by phone, text, or at the host stand outside the restaurant—especially on weekends, when tables fill up fast as word spreads.

History & Environment

This marks the third Santo Coyote location in Mexico, backed by over 25 years of culinary expertise. Another spot is already in the works for Puerto Vallarta.

As you head toward Playa Encanto, the Ocean Cantina appears on your left, easy to spot thanks to its signature decorative tree draped in hanging baskets. Seating options include both indoor and outdoor tables, perfect for couples or larger groups. The vibe is upscale yet relaxed, with a casual dress code that fits beachside elegance. It’s an ideal setting for date nights, anniversaries, or any special occasion. Expect professional, friendly service that raises the bar for the rest of your stay.

What's on the Menu at Santo Coyote?

The compact menu focuses on quality over quantity—every dish is crafted with care using proven recipes.

Standout options include:

Table-side Choices

Signature table-side preparations set the experience apart: fresh salsa, guacamole, and Caesar salad are made right at your table. You can customize spice levels or request simple swaps, like no onions or jalapeños, for a perfectly tailored bite.

Zarandeado

Santo Coyote is earning rave reviews for its perfectly cooked octopus. As a fishing village favorite, seafood shines here. The Zarandeado lets you choose shrimp or octopus (pulpo)—we suggest the octopus for its standout flavor and glowing feedback.

Tacos

You can’t visit Mexico without great tacos, and these deliver. Choose Rib Eye for a straightforward, savory option or Al Pastor topped with refreshing pineapple salsa. Both come with cilantro, onion, and avocado or chipotle sauce on the side.

Other Popular Picks

Guests also love the Santa Fe Salmon, Seafood Pasta, and classic steaks.
