Highland Playhouse

The lake house was incredibly cozy and comfortable. Evenings around the firepit, next to the lake and under the stars were the icing on the cake!

This is a rustic lake cabin: small rooms, wooden floors, narrow stairs with steep narrow steps, convenient lake access and good views. The beds/mattresses were very comfortable and there were plenty of pillows so you can find one that suits you. All appliances, tv, heaters, etc. were in good working order. There are some things that I would want to be aware of before choosing this house. Those narrow steep steps would be a challenge for people with mobility issues or trying to get a large suitcase/duffle bag up and down. They have updated the appliances, sink, and counter tops in the kitchen but there is no dishwasher and the fridge does not have an ice maker. They have 1 old fashion ice tray in the freezer so you should plan on buying a bag of ice for drinks. There is only 1 chair in the small den and it does not have a view of the tv. The rest of the seating is a big soft sectional that may be fine for some people but is not ideal for folks that need firmer seating with arms and side tables.

Great for a small group of 4-6, awesome lake view, clean house. Would def stay here again

I loved the camp!! I grew up not far from there and we had a camp further north. This camp was perfect for 3 of us. Great location and very nostalgic. I am very homesick now! ( but that's a good thing!) Very clean, well kept camp. Thank you!
