We love staying here every time we come to Maine! Quaint, quiet and lovely. Thank you!
Loved the cabin and location
This was the perfect place for my boyfriend and I to spend a lovely, relaxing weekend. The cabin is super tiny but the view is spectacular and there are massive windows with screens so, even when you're inside, you get some outside magic. We spent hours around the fire pit and got to experience a huge thunderstorm over the lake with the windows wide open. We were even able to check in two hours early! A few things to note: this place is small โ a single room, really โ and the bed is a pullout sofa. Not super comfortable but my boyfriend and I are relatively young and can still handle things like that. Also, there is no proper kitchen. Just a toaster oven, microwave, and grill. Prepare accordingly. The grill was pretty dirty, as well, but we were able to cook sausages out there just fine. It's also on a covered porch so, even if it rains, you'll be able to use it. The only true bummer is that the coffee machine was broken. Hopefully, they will have fixed this by the time you are reading this review! Oh, and leave the ice cream in the freezer aisle โ the mini fridge does not have a freezer. We learned this the hard way. Overall, we loved our stay and would absolutely return to this tiny oasis!
