Such an amazing place, the art, the ground. A very unique experience. I can’t wait to go again. Great place for a single or a couple.
The home is nestled in a beautiful garden setting. You’ll feel at home right away, as if everything has been curated to make you feel welcome and looked after. With vaulted ceilings, exposed beams, repurposed architectural elements and tasteful antique furnishings, the home is filled with thoughtful appointments. It’s elegant but cozy — I felt comfortable on every sitting and sleeping surface. It’s deceivingly spacious, and the loft offers a private retreat of its own, complete with curtains to draw before bedtime. The artwork in this space is sublime. You’ll find yourself wanting to know the story behind these paintings. One of the owners’ paintings make up a lot of the art, and you can even purchase some of the works to have a piece of Great Ledges Studio to remember. I was there Easter weekend, and they left me a lovely basket filled with treats (that my young niece thoroughly enjoyed)! Extremely thoughtfully appointed rental .. two enthusiastic thumbs up!
Private. Quiet. Wild life. Great furnishings. I could live here!
We loved the art. The home radiated beauty and love. It is so clear how deeply the owners must care about this space.
the home was the perfect getaway that we needed for our four day stay. knick knacks all throughout the house and beautiful artwork. there’s a little cove outlook across the street right through the backyard and with the look.
This is a perfect place for a mini-vacation/retreat! The location can't be beat - halfway between Halibut Point State Park and Good Harbor Beach (favorite Rockport places) with the town's center in between. The property is gorgeous with lots of privacy on the Studio side. The interior is light-filled and spacious, enhanced by the owner's and family artwork, perfect sized kitchen and bathroom. Loved the loft bedroom. Lots of extra towels provided. Very cozy and warm environment. Loved my stay!
