Overview
Golden hills unfold beyond the deck as you settle into this modern farmhouse on an 11-acre working ranch. A striking black-and-white palette and open floor plan give way to panoramic valley views — sheep grazing below, sunset painting the ridgeline. Penngrove puts you 10 minutes from Petaluma, 25 minutes from Sonoma Plaza, and within easy reach of every wine region in the county. Bring the dogs and let the quiet of ranch country settle in.
Spend mornings on the porch as the ranch wakes up, afternoons exploring Petaluma's downtown or driving north to Sonoma Plaza's tasting rooms, and evenings on the deck as sunset paints the ridgelines gold. A sofa, upholstered armchairs, and a glass coffee table beneath abstract art draw you into the open living room. The full kitchen continues the clean line — shaker cabinetry to the ceiling, a French door fridge anchoring the stainless lineup, quartz counters, and a peninsula with bar seating that keeps the conversation flowing toward the dining table beyond. Every line of the home frames the working ranch out back where sheep graze across the golden hills. OUTDOOR LIVING The elevated wood deck is the standout. Woven lounge chairs and a bistro table face sweeping views of golden hills, distant mountains, and the working ranch below. A brick paver patio near the entrance offers additional space for morning coffee. SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS Three bedrooms for up to six guests. The primary suite has a king bed with a spacious layout. A second bedroom holds a queen with bathroom access, and a third offers a queen with ceiling fan and desk. PROPERTY AMENITIES -- Central AC -- Full kitchen with stainless appliances -- Smart lock entry -- Dog-friendly (up to 2 dogs) -- Elevated deck with valley views -- Brick paver patio
Step out to an elevated deck where the hillsides fan out, then come back into a striking black-and-white modern farmhouse anchored by a two-story tower. You've got the whole home, dogs welcome, with outdoor dining and valley views from the deck. Punch in the keypad code through the gated entry; pull up to three to five cars in.

I loved how dark it is on the deck at night, stargazing! Beautiful scenery. Awesome kitchen.
Spectacular house and a gorgeous property! Quite yet close enough to town. (Took ride shares to and from dinner) super comfy and very clean. My only feedback is it’s a little too nice to be a rental! Loved it!
Clean, quiet, great little get away.
Our group loved staying in this space for three days. It was clean, well-lit and spacious, with enough equipment to prepare holiday dinner. There is a large fridge to store ingredients in and dishwasher which made cleaning up easy. The family room was spacious and well-lit, with plenty of puzzles and books. The master bedroom featured a shower with two showerheads - a unique touch to the wonderful space. We truly enjoyed our stay!
The house was very clean, modern and well equipped for a comfortable and enjoyable experience.
The house was very clean and well appointed. Setting was peaceful, serene perfect place to go to disconnect. Enjoyed stargazing at night and walks along the country road watching the cows grays in the morning. Thank you for a great experience.
