Overview
Step out the cabin door as redwoods tower over the wire-mesh deck of this Cazadero retreat. A black wood-burning stove (not available for guest use) warms the blonde-wood accent wall, and the light-wood kitchen meets white subway-tile backsplash. Walk 1.9 miles to Point of ridge, or 1.8 miles to the Cazadero General Store.
Spend mornings on the deck as mist lifts off the Russian River, afternoons floating the river or visiting Korbel and Joseph Jewell tasting rooms, and evenings around the firepit with the day's bottles. A black wood-burning stove (not available for guest use) on a brick surround anchors the open living space — the gathering point on foggy evenings. The grey sofa and an armchair sit on a cowhide rug; a Roku TV stands ready for movie nights. The kitchen pairs light wood cabinets and white counters with stainless appliances, a gas range, and a subway tile backsplash. A six-seat dining table waits beneath an eclectic mix of chairs, with the path down to Austin Creek just outside the back door. OUTDOOR LIVING Your furnished deck wraps around the cabin with a picnic table, bench seating, and gas grill for alfresco dining. Wire mesh railings frame towering redwoods while string lights set the mood. A path leads directly to Austin Creek below. SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS Two bedrooms each offer king beds on wood frames — one with warm brown checkered bedding, the other in calming blues. Both overlook the redwoods. A queen sofa bed in the living room handles overflow. Sleeps 4. PROPERTY AMENITIES -- Gas grill -- Washer and dryer -- Roku TV (bring streaming credentials) -- Full kitchen with dishwasher -- Parking for 2 vehicles
Pull up to a modernized cabin tucked into towering forest and slide open the deck doors for outdoor dining among the trees. The whole cabin is yours, with clean contemporary finishes set against the rustic exterior. Punch in the keypad code at the door; the parking pad in front fits two cars.
Cazadero is about an hour and 45 minutes from San Francisco via 101 and River Road — a scenic drive into a quiet redwood canyon. A car makes the Russian River Valley and Sonoma Coast easy to explore, from redwood groves to coastal bluffs. Cell service gets patchy in the redwoods, so downloading offline maps before you arrive is worth it.
The fireplace is decorative only and not for use.

Loved our time at CazCabin 6. Even with the rain, the cabin was the perfect cozy place to stay and spend time with our family. It was so convenient to be able to cook our own meals in their fully-stocked kitchen and we loved having a family movie night in their living room with ample comfy seating. Beautiful and peaceful spot!
Loved this property!!!
Caz 6 is comfortable, cozy and has everything you need! Cute 2 bedroom cabin!
This two bedroom cabin located in the middle of hedge sequoias trees bordered by a creek was a peaceful getaway for the weekend. Finding it was frustrating because the roads are not well marked. So the turn off of the Cazerdero hwy is a street named Scanlon road / there is a big sign that says Boy Scouts of America Camp there on that corner . Turn right go up that road and the first driveway to the right is Wildwood Lane. Wildwood Lane does not run directly off the Cazadero hwy as stated on my App. You can’t miss the red cabin. The property is well kept and beautiful. Very peaceful with a path to the creek below. The creek was pretty dry this time of year but enough water to splash around in and walk around looking at all the beautiful natural landscape of the area. The cabin itself was quaint and cozy well stocked with all the essentials to cook with. The only negative for us was the mattresses were a bit to firm for us and a little uncomfortable for sleeping. If firmer mattresses doesn’t bother you then you will be fine. So I would recommend this little hidden gem to anyone who just wants to unplug and unwind from the dialy grind.
Beautiful location. Lovely little cabin. Thank you!
Everything was well organized, and thoughtfully designed and decorated with a modern eye yet felt so cozy. The pantry was fully stocked and we enjoyed using the kitchen. We enjoyed the access to the creek and their new tree shower feature. Having the washer/dryer was key after water play in the creek/river/ocean. CazCabin 6 was a true retreat from city life and we all enjoyed our time there.
