Lemon Bay Escapade

Set back on a quiet cul-de-sac of Pelican Shores Circle, you and your family can get that much-needed quiet while still being mere minutes from the action of this great area. With a perfect bayfront location you'll have no delay slipping right into vacation mode. Sip a morning coffee or an evening glass of wine on the screened lanai boasting beautiful water views. Three bikes are provided for easy transportation. You'll be one and a half miles north of Englewood Public Beach, restaurants, and shops, and just a short trip from the mainland for other shopping and points north and south. While in the area, be sure to grab a bite to eat from local favorites. You can also gaze at the glorious sunsets over Manasota Key. For a change of scenery, head to the island's far end and check out the beautiful trails at Stump Pass Beach State Park. Don't hesitate to go inland to downtown Englewood for even more city fun! Hop into the kitchen and take advantage of all of the appliances of home to whip up anything from a quick snack to a gourmet meal. The free Xfinity WiFi and cable TV in the living room will provide more than enough entertainment when days come to a close. For your convenience, there is also a dedicated landline. Things to Know

Great access to the bay, and screened porch!!

Location, location, location! Perfect place for a family stay with easy access to beaches, restaurants, boating andore The home was spotless and mostly brand new, including appliances and kitchenware which was well stocked with everything needed to prepare large and small meals! Open indoor and outdoor living space with a sense of privacy was a nice bonus. Also within a mile or two from several great restaurants, we rarely felt a need to leave the key. Overall a great experience!

We really enjoyed our stay. A few hiccups with getting in when we arrived, and an early check-in would have been great, but otherwise a great place for the price. Really enjoyed the dock for fishing and the proximity to the 4 beaches. Great, quiet neighborhood. If you're looking for luxury, look elsewhere and plan to spend 3x or more. We may be back!

We loved our week on Lemon Bay and made full use of the great dock access. Easy put in for kayaks, beach access across the street, and screened in back porch with lighted palms made the stay an enjoyable one. While the house/furnishings are dated, the space had a lot to offer for a wonderful week at Manasota Key. We had an issue with a few appliances (washer and dishwasher), but I assume they will be addressed so the only “home improvement” we might suggest is a light of some sort on the screened back porch. Otherwise, if you’re not looking for “fancy” or “pristine” but instead want a comfortable cozy cottage on the bay, this a your place!

Don’t judge this house by its cover. It doesn’t look great from the outside, but the inside will have everything you need. It’s outdated but we didn’t need fancy. Location is perfect. Only gave 4 stars because of leaking coffee pot, rusty water(hot water heater may need replaced), leaky shower control, and washer doesn’t spin completely. We would for sure come back though.
