Two bedrooms and two full bathrooms mean this retreat is perfect for families, groups, and couples alike. The wonderful deck just off the living room allows you to admire beautiful views of the sparkling lake from the comfort of home. This space is also ideal for alfresco meals since it's furnished with an outdoor dining table for four. The living room is complete with a wood-burning fireplace, a sleeper sofa, and a flatscreen TV with cable. The fully equipped kitchen has all the major appliances needed to prepare mouth-watering homemade meals! Put on the chef's apron and show off your cooking skills. The main bedroom has its own en suite bathroom, while the second guest bedroom has access to the hallway bathroom. Please note that this property does not have A/C. Great location about 2 minutes from Glen Arbor, quiet property, overall a very nice experience. Only drawback was the unseasonable warm weather and need to run fans throughout the condo to keep it cool.

We really enjoyed our stay at South Beach 53. Spacious, comfy, and close to everything we wanted to do (the bay/beach, hiking, dining, Traverse City), the only problem was it was hard to leave the view! A well-appointed kitchen made cooking-at-home an easy choice, too. We will definitely come back.

Quiet location at the Homestead, a bit dated but a good supply of dishes, pots and pans and a nice kitchen. Mirrors on most of the walls in the living area create a constant view.

We very much enjoyed our stay. Some of our past Homestead stays have been a bit cramped, but not at this South Beach location. Excellent views, so great to take a short walk to the beach.
