We enjoyed our stay at the little cottage in Lakeside. It is close to everything—Weko Beach, Warren Dunes, New Buffalo, Union Pier, etc. A+ location. It is quite outdated and the beds are very hard, but overall a great place to stay based on the location.

Trash can was overflowing and smelled as it hadn’t been emptied in a long time. Porch was dirty and the floor had obviously not been swept as there were dead bugs everywhere. The house has mice as I saw them running across the living room and another one was dead on the porch. A large limb came crashing down while we were eating dinner on the porch narrowly missing the roof and casing us to run into the house for protection. I let me complaints be known from the beginning and nothing has been done to mitigate the issues I brought forth.

Nice, clean little place in a great location to beach and a few good places to eat. Nice quiet neighborhood. If you are looking for high end, modern feel, this is not your place. But it was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. Would stay again if in area.
