Good time, best family vacations

While the location and amenities like the hot tub, kayaks, and the master bathroom were enjoyable, the overall condition of the property was disappointing during our three-night Thanksgiving stay. The large number of broken, heavily worn, or neglected items made the lack of maintenance a running joke for our group. We encountered everything from furniture falling apart (broken chairs, missing couch cushions) and broken game equipment (nearly all cue sticks, damaged pool table railings) to poor quality kitchenware. The exterior upkeep was also concerning, such as the lake deck, which had numerous rotten boards that felt unsafe to walk on. Furthermore, the indoor fireplace was non-functional, and we lacked basic network tv channels, which was inconvenient for watching holiday programming. While these issues didn't ruin our trip, the significant deferred maintenance is enough to prevent us from booking this property again.

Exceeded expectations! Such a cozy home and we Loved sitting by the lake at the little beach and kayaking. They have 3 kayaks for guest use but bring your own life jacket. Sorta wish they had the life jackets. It rained our last afternoon but the game room kept us entertained. Living room is so cozy to curl up and watch a movie. Beds are super comfortable!
