We loved the house and the property…the lake and amenities were spectacular
This was the perfect place for our yearly trip - we are actually hoping to use this place every year. The kitchen was one of the best stocked kitchens I've seen in a vacation rental!
Beautiful views of the lake! Nice and spacious!
Great home for kids & adults.
We loved this house! Plenty of room, hotel sheets on each bed and the beds were very comfortable. I picked this house due to being surrounded by woods for privacy and to give a little camping vibe when outdoors. Everyone enjoyed the kayaks (there were plenty) and the canoe. Hot tub was great! Fire pit right at the edge of the water was fantastic. String lights in the trees outside was so amazing. The beach area had a sandy bottom when entering into the lake for a swim. The lake view from the house is amazing! I was told the bunk beds were comfortable which is the 1st, all the other houses we have rented before they were not comfortable so win win with that. Thank you for having us, I hope to score on this house again next year.
This is the third home we have rented at Lake Anna. It is spacious and we liked the upgraded bathrooms and the bedroom furniture. The kitchen was well-stocked. The boathouse was a definite bonus and thankfully the water level at the lake was just enough to use the dock and boathouse. The hot tub is very nice, and clean. The dock had plenty of comfortable chairs for relaxing and a nearby (small) fire pit. The property is located in a great central spot on the lake. While the home has lots of windows, the trees are so mature that it doesn’t receive much natural light inside. We wished there was a table to gather and eat on the deck and we were surprised to see that while the garage is featured in the photos, it is not accessible to guests. When we arrived, the keypad on the front door did not work and there was a defective GFI outlet for the sump pump on the wet bar in the basement (so it did not drain). I spoke to our representative about both issues via phone and then left a follow-up message a couple of days later. These (minor) issues were promised to be addressed quickly but no one ever responded. Overall, the home was clean and comfortable, but candidly takes third place to the other two homes we have enjoyed over recent years.
