We took a chance to ski during Sundance and were pleasantly surprised at the low crowds on the slopes. We had 3 great days!! Restaurants were crowded though so we opted to cook in house. Kitchen is well equipped - had everything we needed!! Upstairs temp is fairly warm compared to downstairs - something to think about when you choose who goes up or down. Slopes are a short walk away which was super nice! Grocery and bus stops are a short walk. This is a 3rd floor with no elevator but we left some shoes in the car to help get up and down with our ski gear.
The location is really hard to beat. Super close to the lifts at the base of the resort. Also very close to a bus stop that provides free service throughout the city. The condo itself was very clean, updated and had everything we needed for our stay. The beds are great! It's the perfect size for four adults. There is a pull out couch that would allow sleeping up to six, but that would be too tight for me personally. There is plenty of parking on site and we were able to use a garage which was very nice. The only negative was the hot tub was not working the entire time we were there and after talking to another resident we learned it has been broken for quite some time. I understand that since it's a communal hot tub that the owner of the condo may not have much say in when it gets fixed, but since the hot tub is featured so prominently in the listing I had to deduct a star from the rating. Had the hot tub been working it would be 5 stars.
We loved walking to the Payday lift in the morning and into town for dinner in the afternoon. Can’t beat the location!
Great place to stay. We had 4 guys go for a long weekend and was very comfortable. 5 min walk to the lift and downtown was a long walk or quick Uber. Depending on the weather. This has nothing to do with the place itself, but the lifts in this area are limited. You can get up and out but have some traversing and a few other lifts to get further out into the resort. But way less busier than other areas. Just fyi. Parking was little tight in the garage with a truck, but made it work. First come first serve. Hot Tub was nice too after a long day out.
We really enjoyed our stay at this condo. The beds were comfortable, lovely linens. The kitchen was well stocked with pans, knives, etc. My teenagers enjoyed the loft. Both showers have been newly remodeled and are beautiful. we especially enjoyed the closed garage that you have access to staying here.
