Rating
Lakeland Village is always a great place to stay. It's a great location to stay for easy convenience to multiple ski resorts, the bike trail, restaurants, and the lake.
This specific unit we were in needed some TLC. The location is great but I would not recommend if you have kids.
I’ve stayed in several of the units here- this one certainly not on my list of favorites. It is in desperate need of a deep cleaning and overdue maintenance. There are unfinished repair projects, an old tv awkwardly in the corner upstairs, dirty carpets and kitchen air filter. I have no idea what the utility bill is- but the heater ran pretty much the entire tile to keep it as a normal room temp. I am guessing the owner never stays here- it feels almost like someone just collects the income and doesn’t put anything back into routine maintenance and care. With a bit of effort this place could be nice- clean it up, finish the repair projects, replace the intolerably uncomfortable small couch, replace the missing art work over the fireplace, install a gas heater, maybe care about your guests experience and how your inattention impacts the legacy of Lakeland Village and the reputation of Vacasa. There is a 2016-2017 Tahoe telephone directory on the coffee table- perhaps no one has been there since then?
Like the location to the lake and downtown
This place needs new carpet, furniture, toilets and cabinetry. The location is good and it’s quiet. The beach is a short walk but gritty sand and goose excrement everywhere. Can’t recommend.
Nothing. Everything was old and warm and pealing. I contacted Vacasa and they never compensated me or moved me to another unit after four days of communicating back and forth. Mostly me asking them the status. My baby granddaughter had dark grey in her knees and hands! We could not wear our bare feet in the unit it was so bad.
