Cozy, 3-story condo with prime location, seasonal pool, tennis & sauna

Good, clean house. They have dishes for kids as well, that was helpful. Nobody bothered us, so we had a good stay.

Located in a typical 70s Tahoe development we had a nice four days exploring the area.

We booked this place in July 2025 for three nights. The listing should have mentioned a possible mouse infestation. We saw two mice running around in a span of one hour during our first night. In addition, we discovered mouse droppings under the kitchen sink. Even after reporting the problem via text to Vacasa the next morning, no one attempted to call us personally to ask how they can resolve the situation. We would have appreciated being assisted ASAP with re-accommodation from our terrible experience. Instead, we texted with a rep from Vacasa who did not have the authority to really do anything but apologize to us about our situation. Until now, we have never heard back from a rep from Vacasa to make us feel that they actually care about their customers. We decided to book a hotel after the first night and ask for a refund for the two nights we ended up not using and full or partial refund for the first night. We also ended up going to a few stores looking for mouse traps, purchased them, and placed them around the property. Vacasa texted us to say that we still needed to pay for the first full night and while the two nights would be refunded, we would still be charged the services and fees, which I felt was unfair, considering the lack of service we actually received. Terrible ordeal. As far as the property itself, it was very dated with creaky floors and the third floor was very hot with no air circulation. This experience ruined a birthday, family getaway.

We loved the convenience to kings beach and hiking near by. The pool was an added bonus to escape the crowds in town. Unit was pleasant with comfortable beds and newly remodeled bathroom. Kitchen also very nicely furnished with all the cooking equipment you need. Fans were provided which was appreciated as the days can be quite warm in summer. Nights were cool so lack of air conditioning was not a problem.

This place was well equipped with what we needed, was a great location, had a nice pool, and was a great price. It worked just fine for our family of 4. Though I would note that the bunk bed was too hot for my daughter to sleep in. Would have been fine in cooler weather, but for a summer stay, the heat up there in the loft and in the bunk bed specifically was too much for her, even with fans. Rest of the condo and beds were all fine, just that bunk was too high up in the loft for comfort in the summer.
