Absolutely the Worst Rental Experience The local agent was an absolute nightmare to deal with—completely unprofessional and dismissive. Vacasa pretends to care about their so-called “cleaning standards,” but when it came down to it, they backed the local agent and left us stuck in a filthy, unlivable rental. The condition of the home was disgusting. I was afraid to take my shoes off. The kitchen was so dirty I couldn’t use it, the bathrooms were unsanitary, and the entire place felt gross. The only saving grace was that the linens on the beds appeared clean—thankfully, or I would have slept in my car. I was trapped for three nights due to commitments in Incline Village, otherwise I would have left immediately. The local agent initially acted concerned, promising a “re-clean,” but it never happened. When cleaners finally did show up, nothing improved—I have before-and-after photos showing the exact same issues. The only sign they came was that a bottle of cleaning solution left on the counter disappeared. When I asked to be moved or placed in a hotel, the local agent flat-out refused. His only “solution” was to let me leave early with a partial refund, which was not feasible due to my obligations in town. I repeatedly asked for fair compensation, and both he and Vacasa denied it, despite the photo evidence I submitted. To make matters worse, Vacasa advertises cleaning standards that they clearly do not follow. Their “mission” is nothing but marketing—customers are being ripped off. There wasn’t even a real local office to escalate to; it turned out to be the agent’s personal home. For reference, here are just a few of the issues: • Toenail clippings on the bedroom and bathroom floors • Pubic hair in the showers and tubs • Human feces on toilet seats We paid over $1,500 for three nights in these conditions (this included a larger than normal cleaning fee). This property should not even be listed as a vacation rental. I will be filing complaints with the Nevada State Health Department and the Real Estate Commissioner. If this unit had been properly cleaned, it could have been a great stay. But with horrific local management, nonexistent standards, and a company that refuses accountability, this was hands-down the worst rental experience of my life. Do not trust Vacasa’s cleaning promises—they do not deliver.

This home worked incredible for our trip! We stayed here with 3 other couples for a wedding. So nice that we all had our own bathrooms to get ready. Excellent location in Incline.
Beautiful views. Plenty of bedrooms and great access to all the amenities of the area. Plan on a return visit soon. First class accommodations. Thanks.
Had a great time here on a girls getaway. Everyone had their own bathroom which was great. It was close to shops, restaurants, the lake, mountain and gambling.
