Great stay! Thank you!
We had a nice time.
It was a great little place with all the conveniences. The couch bed worked well for two kids but I wouldn't recommend it for two adults. Great location and easy parking.
Shawn that manages the condo was so helpful when the keypad was not working.
Good TV channels
The home itself is very small. The bed is a queen size bed, and can just fit 2 persons there. There is a sofa bed in the living room, but it is not that comfortable. There is a fire place in the living room. We tried to on it, but i think it was more of a show peice than producing heat for the home. The thermostats worked just fine. The bedroom does not get a lot of heat, but there is a portable heater which is quite conveinent and would heat up just the bedroom. One thing that I did not like was that there were no toilet paper rolls in the bathroom. I thought it might be at some cabinets, and i searched throughout the house and did not find a single roll. I had checked-in almost around 11:30pm and I called vacasa customer support to help out here. It took a while but finally i was able to reach out to the customer service. They told me that they have informed the host about this. I was contacted by the host the next morning and he sent me couple of paper rolls. But it was a disaapointing experience that I had to go hunting for toilet paper rolls in the middle of the night. And I could not find any stores that were open. Somehow we managed through the night and it was a terrible experience. There was no soap or body wash in the bathrooms. They had small boxes of dove shampoo and conditioner which were fine. The hand soap was too watery. It was feeling like the housekeeping had diluted the handsoap to save cost on toiletaries. The bathroom shower door makes a noise (similar to the one when metal bangs) when trying to open and close. Its little annoying. It was communicated to me to not park the car in all season parking lot. So I parked at the guest parking lot. Later in the morning someone posted a sticky note that i do not have parking privilege to park at the guest spot, and I should park at Woodstock parking lot. It would be a lot better if it was mentioned that we should park at the woodstock parking lot instead. The woodstock parking lot is also closer to the home. The dishwasher makes a lot of noise and looks like it does need an upgrade. The kitchen space is quite small. One thing that we did not like was the electric gas burner. The coils were heating our pan unevenly, especially if you are trying to make something like pancakes. It was not much of a problem with the other foods like scrambled eggs. I did had an issue with the main door lock. For safety reason of future guests I do not feel comfortable to sharing the actual issue here since this is readable by anyone. I brought this issue to the host's attention. He mentioned that he can change the lock the next morning. I mentioned to that he can do that once we checkout. I hope he does changes the lock since it is a safety and security issue for any tenants inside the home and for the home owner as well to keep his home secure. I hope he address this issue soon.
