We loved our quiet, calm weekend in the woods. The place was lovely, the neighborhood friendly, and was close to tasty food and good hiking trails.
Beautiful and amazing and just open the best adventure place,
Beautiful home located walking distance to the river and about a mile from the golf courses.
This was a last minute idea to take in some of Mt. Hood area beauty before making our way to a week on the coast. We are SO glad we stayed. Lots of fun memories in this beautiful home shared by 3 generations. Tucked away in what felt like a woodsy wonderland, yet just a quick drive to some fun shops and plenty of places for food, groceries, etc. Sitting on the wrap around deck taking in the sounds and sights was remarkable and I can't wait to plan another trip to enjoy this gem.
We are still waiting for a call back as the pipes had issues and all the water in the house turned brown and we could. Not use . Tv was broken, WiFi barely worked and no one called us back
The house is great, Very solidly built, ground yet cozy! quiet and very spacious! enjoyed it! A few suggestions: 1) In the binder or somewhere in the room or on the shed door, make a note on where to drop the trash, we walked the entire yard and finally find the trash can in the shed. 2) the stairs are really slippery due to years of use. Three people in our party slipped at the last four steps near the bottom. Two managed to not fall, one actually fell on the floor, fortunately he is not injured. The stairs is a potential safety hazards, need some safety strips or other means to make it less slippery. 3) the kitchen is nice and equipped with so much cookware and utensils, yet, no apron. Add an apron will add connivence. 4) when we arrived, it was raining, the ground immediately before the stairs was full of puddles. We have to be really careful to get to the front stairs of the house. A couple wheelbarrow loads of crushed rocks will make it perfect for any weather.
