A short drive away is the Old Mill District, where you'll find shops and even more dining options. Century Drive is just down the hill, which takes you to Mt. Bachelor (roughly a 30-minute drive) for winter skiing and snow boarding and the Cascades Lake Loop with incredible scenery of mountain lakes and lush meadows. Also along this drive is the Virginia Meissner SnoPark (14 miles west of Bend), with over 40 km groomed trails for cross-country skiing and snowshoeing.
