Overview
Riley Creek Bungalow
Beautifully and newly built with your comfort and vacation experience in mind, this home is the perfect spot to settle in for your next escape to Gold Beach. This Oregon Coast retreat features a polished kitchen with a large island, sleek contemporary design, and brand new stainless steel appliances, as well as a comfortable dining and living room where guests can enjoy time together. Outside, you'll love relaxing on a spacious deck that overlooks the waters of Riley Creek. The front porch swing is something enjoyed by kids and parents along with seniors–the perfect place to unwind! A reputable architect designed the duplex to take maximum advantage of the surrounding geography in a manner that would create a serene and private setting for its occupants. The area is quiet, the sounds of nature abundant, and the gurgling creek soothing (which when flowing at its usual pace can be heard when inside either dwelling), and visits from deer, bugling elk, wild turkeys, and the occasional owl or bear are daily reminders of one’s connection with nature. The placement of the carport between the two parts of the duplex, as well as the layout and position of each home in relation to the other, was designed to maximize the exposure of each to nature and to maintain privacy between the dwellings. What’s nearby: This home is located a one-mile walk or drive from the Pacific Ocean, where you can surf, fish, kiteboard, and comb the wild beach for rocks and seashells. Restaurants and grocery stores are also only one mile west in the heart of Gold Beach. This was a super clean and cozy place - will definitely be back!
Location and property is perfect.
We love this place, have been coming here for several years. Great location to go north or south for hiking and beach exploring. Dear, geese, and ducks are always fun to see as well as a flock of wild turkeys. A few things need attention but overall we hope to return next year!
It was convenient and quite So sorry it is so poorly managed I will NOT stay at a Vacasa property again
Overall, the house was comfortable! The bath and shower curtain situation was a bit obnoxious but manageable. Their is a rooster next door that will wake you up before dawn. We found we could not sleep with the windows open because it sounded like it was right outside the window.
Great location! Lots of wildlife. Well-appointed kitchen.
