Welcoming haven with mountain view, fireplaces & walkable locale MCA #824

This was a great house especially for a couple families with a gaggle of kids. The upstairs and downstairs living rooms were wonderful for a rainy day of indoor activities. The beds were comfy. The loft area was a good bonus for a couple of the kiddos. The treed deck and peek a boo view of the ocean and the quiet neighborhood were just what we needed. The only slightly negative was actually accessing the house upon arrival. Note, the main entrance is on Floral (which is a gravel road and looks a bit like a driveway) not Greenridge. That's the side of the house where there is easy parking for three cards and easy access to the house via the 2nd floor deck. We really enjoyed our visit!!

The house was very nice and clean. We met family there for Thanksgiving. We Trip the circuit on Thanksgiving morning. The electrical panel was in a locked room and we could not access it the reset it. It was disappointing to have a kitchen with no lights or outlets that worked. Then the morning we left, the dishwasher quit working. Other than that, the house was great.

We booked this house for the listed amenities, and were very disappointed that those particular amenities were not in working order. Had we known that, we would have definitely booked elsewhere. Spending $750 for 2 nights, and then not even enjoying being at the house, was quite frustrating. The following list is what we found to be lacking: -House was not very clean (chips/crumbs/hair in loft area, on dining and sitting chairs in LR) -Woodstove was not in working order (no newspaper to start fire, broken handle so you couldn't even open the door) -Firepit on deck did not work (igniter was broken, no propane) -House very stinky (super musty, probably a mold problem somewhere) -TV downstairs did not connect to any kind of channels or streaming service, there no instructions anywhere on how to operate it. We were not able to watch a movie or shows. -TV and Gaming system upstairs (Nintendo cube) was a huge mess of cords. We spent a very long time untangling everything and trying to figure out how to set it up. The games were so scratched they wouldn't play in the console. We finally found one that would (Cars), but the TV would not play sound and would only show things in black and white. Overall, this house was a huge disappointment, given that we did not feel that we received what we paid for. In addition, we tried to contact Vacasa for support but had great difficulty doing so and received no response.

Great location close to supermarket and beaches, cozy rooms and at no time was there a lack of hot water in the bathrooms

Enjoyed our stay!

Short walk to the beach (5-10 min) and same distance to the Manzanita shops & restaurants. I loved the 2nd floor living area & deck. It felt like we were in a treehouse. Furnishings were modern & in good condition. Lots of hang out spaces for kids. Enjoyed the record player & what a fun collection of old music:) We took day trips to Cannon Beach & Oswald State Park. Did not make it to Nehalem Bay because we ran out of time, but I would love to come stay in this house again.
