Upon entering this beautiful retreat, guests will be greeted by a bright interior and open layout, allowing up to eight guests (five adults) to spread out and feel right at home. After long days of skiing or snowboarding, the chef of the group can hop into the fully equipped kitchen, boasting gorgeous countertops and modern appliances, and whip up something special for the whole group. During warmer times of the year, enjoy a favorite drink on the balcony while you breathe in the fresh air or make your way to the shared pool for a day of lounging in the sun! Everyone will be able to find an activity to enjoy here! This rental is conveniently located next to Timberline Lodge, Mt. Hood Meadows, and Mt. Hood Skibowl for plenty of wintertime activities like skiing, snowboarding, snow tubing, and sledding. Mt. Hood Adventure Park at Skibowl offers a variety of summertime activities that include an Alpine slide, zip lines, horseback riding, and mini-golf. You'll find a lot of nearby hiking trails for long walks and mountain biking, plus local lakes within a 20-minute drive. Government Camp has lots of boutiques, restaurants, and brewpubs to check out like Glacier Public House, Charlie's Mountain View, and Ratskeller tavern. Unit 102 in the Grand Lodge South was a terrible experience for our family! DO NOT BOOK! We booked this unit as a birthday trip for our young daughter who loves to swim. We booked this location specifically because of the access to the pool and hot tub, but our unit did not come with the key card necessary to access these amenities. I spent HOURS on the phone, texting, and emailing with Vacasa (the property management company) and Marriott (the booking platform) trying to resolve this issue but was repeatedly placed on long holds, told that a "local team" would reach out (they never did) and told that I could expect a response within 24-48 hours (nope). We checked in on a Friday night and checked out on Monday morning and I didn't receive the key card until late Sunday night, too late for us to actually use the facilities. In addition, THERE WERE NO FORKS IN THE UNIT! What?!?! Every other utensil but no forks. When I raised this to Vacasa they had the gall to ask whether forks were explicitly advertised as coming with the unit. Finally, the unit was not clean when we arrived. We found dirty pots put away in the cabinets, piles of trash and dirty socks in one of the rooms, and what looked like someones clipper contents inside one of the bathroom drawers. Overall, terrible customer service for an dirty rental that didn't come with the advertised amenities. Save yourself the hassle and avoid this place and Vacasa in general!

Great location for exploring Mt Hood and plenty of room and amenities, but Vacasa was not able to give any support for minor issues regarding drainage, filters needing replacement and cleanliness despite saying they would be in touch.

We really enjoyed our stay in this spacious and nicely appointed. It was clean and we enjoyed a quiet stay. Easy access to the highway. We would definitely stay here again.
