If you value immaculate spaces, high thread-count sheets, or high end furnishings this cabin is likely not going to be your cup of tea. But if, like us, you don't mind a few dust bunnies or spider webs and you value proximity to a beautiful and little visited beach, tide pools mere steps from your door, watching the sunset or the starry night sky, or listening to the pounding surf from the comfort of your warm cozy cabin you will love this cabin. If you love a super soft thick memory foam mattress, you will love the bed in the main bedroom. We found it way to soft for our tastes and moved our bedding to the pull out couch in the living room our second night. We found this couch to be the most comfortable pull out couch we had ever experienced so we were glad we made the switch. The kitchen has all the dishes and silverware and pots and pans needed for basic cooking, but we did have to clean a pan before we could use it. The propane heater is wonderful on cold winter days. It heats up the whole cabin quickly. We loved our stay and look forward to coming back in the future.

No-frills and lived-in in a way that felt cozy and welcoming to us — much more our style than a sterile, hotel-like space. We loved spending time puzzling, reading, cooking, and taking advantage of the wonderful beach access. A great fit if you appreciate location, character and simplicity over a pristine, modern feel.

The house is nestled in trees off the coast and the property is so stunning! The beach is beautiful and we loved looking at tide pools. The stars at night blew me away and we even saw shooting stars. Be sure to check out the lighthouse and trails nearby. Though no fault of the property, there was a dead Sea lion on the beach, so please be cautious before bringing pups on the beach as we learned there is an outbreak of leptospirosis in marine life currently in the area and it can persist on moist ground.
