Nice place good location. Fun games, ping pong. Hot tub wasn’t working that was disappointing.
This was a great house with plenty of space to spread out. We had tons of fun playing on the pool table and ping pong table. There's a huge dining table that's great for games, cards and eating all together. We were very disappointed that the hot tub was out of service. It would have been nice if we had known before hand as we were looking forward to it. A local burn ban kept us from having a bonfire but there is great firering with a lot of seating. The beach is a 10 minute walk and quite beautiful. So much to do in the area: hiking, shopping in the coastal towns, Tillamook Cheese factory, Cannon Beach and the magnificent haystack rock, etc, etc. This house is so charming--I would love to stay forever!!!
We rented this beach house for our annual Mother’s Day family trip and were excited about the space and location. While the house itself was lovely, our experience with Vacasa’s responsiveness was disappointing. The gas fireplace, one of the features I was most looking forward to, didn’t work. After trying everything, I contacted support and was told a report would be filed, but nothing happened. Later that night, we discovered that the back porch lights and outlets weren’t working either. This was a real safety issue — the lights were crucial for using the hot tub and for safely getting down the steps to the firepit area in the dark. I reported this as well, was asked to send photos, and was told maintenance would follow up. The next day, a friendly maintenance person came out but couldn’t resolve either issue. The fireplace had no propane, and the porch lighting problem seemed electrical. She said she’d report back to her supervisor, but we never heard anything further — no update, no apology, no solution. It was disappointing to pay for amenities that didn’t work, especially over a holiday weekend. Makes me wonder how long these issues have been ignored and how many other guests have dealt with the same problems.
My family and a few other family members stayed here. It was spotless and such a fun place to stay! The house is huge! So much space to do things. The activities there are just enough to keep littles and adults entertained. My kids ages ranged from 8-13 and they were busy the entire time we were there. We will definitely be returning! The hot tub was fantastic and working. The fire pit was great and beds were comfortable. Dishes were clean as well as the linen and towels, and the rest of the house. I lost a diamond earring while I was there, let them know as soon as we left and within a short time, they called and let me know they found it along with my nephews binky and were going to ship it next day to us. I am extremely pleased and can not wait for our next trip back!
We enjoyed our stay at this house, but beware that the hot water is limited to a few showers and that no outdoor shower exists, even though that's advertised. We called in a ticket to repair the hot water, only to be told by the plumber on site that "it's a capacity issue." It's surprising to me that amenities can be advertised without existing and that a house of this size can only support a few showers at a time. Some quality control is needed here, and probably a concession due to false advertising.
We loved this property. Perfect for multiple families. We had a great time staying at this property and will absolutely book again. Thank you!
