You will love stepping out onto the deck from the dining area to grill while looking over the ocean and the yard. Each bedroom has been thoughtfully outfitted. We stayed at this house with our family of four, including our 17- and 19-year-old kids. The adults took the bedroom with the queen bed and en suite bathroom, while our 19-year-old stayed in the room with the king bed and shared bathroom, which worked well for both kids. The only surprise was the bunk bed room — it's quite compact with two sets of bunk beds and very little extra space. Our 17-year-old, who is 5'7", found that her feet hung off the end of the bunk. She made the room work by using the extra bunk as her "dresser". Just something to keep in mind if you're traveling with more or taller children. That aside, everything else was fantastic. The view of Twin Rocks from the living room is stunning, and the easy beach access was a huge plus. The beach itself is beautiful. Very walkable. We were there in early June and the beach was practically empty. We enjoyed walking the beach about a mile into Rockaway Beach each morning to grab coffee at Joe’s. The beds were very comfortable; the pillows weren’t my favorite, but that’s personal preference. We only cooked breakfast during our stay and found the kitchen well-stocked with everything we needed. Highly recommend both this house and the Rockaway Beach area. If we ever vacation in the same place twice, we'd happily stay here again!
