If you're looking for luxe accommodations, this isn't it. If you're looking for one of the most fantastic views ever, in Oceanside, this is the place! It overlooks all of Oceanside: the town, the beach, the hillside, the miles of ocean! It's really breathtaking! We were there over a long weekend that happened to include lightening and thunder storms 2 of the 3 nights we were there, and it was spectacular! The upper bedrooms, and quiet loft area was absolutely the best. I could go on for days about the view! My adult son cooked up a eastcoast seafood boil, and we were impressed with the decent cookware, and we had plenty of tableware. The kitchen is big enough for a couple of people in it at the and time, and it's open onto the dining and living room, so you get that spectacular view whilst busy in the kitchen. We had a couple of issues; namely we lost Internet night one, and didn't get it back until the night before we left. Also the garbage can was full to the top so there was no room for ours to fit in the can. Once Internet was restored, we emailed vcasa, and they came right out and delt with the trash, and fairly reimbursed us for the loss of intent. They couldn't have been more willing to help. The entire staff we interacted with were lovely, helpful, fast to respond, and respectful. Our issues were promptly addressed and they followed up, not once, but twice, and then again after we got home. I gave the house medium points due to the fact it's a recent addition to vcasa, and still in transition. They are working on updating it and bringing it more in line with most beach rentals. Once that work is completed, I imagine this will be extremely popular since it's truly a million dollar view.
Loved how close to the beach it was.
