True Knot Cottage

The layout of the house is really nice. Not as close to the Village as other locations but the proximity of the beach and community pool made up for that.

We had the most amazing girls’ getaway at this beach house! From the moment we walked in, it felt warm, welcoming, and perfectly set up for a relaxing trip. The house was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed—from a fully stocked kitchen to plenty of cozy seating areas where we could relax, laugh, and catch up. The location couldn’t have been better—just steps from the beach with gorgeous views and a great deck for morning coffee and evening wine. The bedrooms were comfortable, with plenty of space for everyone, and we loved the little touches that made our stay extra special. It was the perfect combination of relaxation and fun, and we all agreed it was the best spot we could’ve chosen for our getaway. We can’t wait to come back again!

We recently stayed at this home for our vacation. The location was great—just a short walk to the beach and pool—and the home offered adequate space for our family. It was also well stocked with beach gear and kitchen essentials, which we appreciated. That said, for the price we paid, we expected a much higher level of comfort, cleanliness, and hospitality. The home was outdated in style, and we were instructed not to set the AC below 72°, making it uncomfortably warm at night and resulting in poor sleep. The master bedroom had only two flat pillows for the king-size bed, and the sheets were stiff and scratchy. Towels were stained, and many furniture items, bedding, and decorative pillows also had visible stains. All TVs were older models with only basic cable—no streaming or smart TV options—which was disappointing during a few rainy afternoons. The remotes were sticky and taped together. There was a cabinet of games, but most were incomplete and disorganized. No coffee was provided, and the “stocked” toiletries were half-used, old, travel-sized bottles. For the premium price, this rental simply didn’t deliver. Basic expectations—like cleanliness, coffee, usable toiletries, and a comfortable sleeping environment—were not met. While the location was great, we would not return.

It is soooo charming! Beautifully decorated in all ocean themed rooms… the colors so relaxing you immediately feel calm and tranquil! It is so wonderfully stocked with everything you could imagine!! I just wished we could stay longer!!! We will most certainly be back!

Our stay at True Knot Cottage was wonderful. The cottage was just as described and clean. The check in/check out instructions were easy to follow. We loved our time there and wouldn't hesitate to return. Thank you!

Stayed here for 3 nights for a girls trip! Amazing house, amazing location and the beach was so close! Will def keep this house in mind for future trips!
