Not only was the place filthy upon arrival, there were roaches scurrying around the entire stay. Additionally, bathroom floor tiles were broken, there was no hot water in the master bathroom shower, no comforters on any of the beds, the vacuum cleaner was broken, and 4 of the closet doors were hanging from their hinges. Overall, the condition of the condo was in very bad shape and the photos were extremely deceiving. The outdoor condo amenities (pools, hot tubs, and beach front access) were nice.
Unfortunately, our family vacation was ruined because of this rental. It was dirty upon arrival. Every closet door is broken, drawers in every dresser are broken. Blinds do not go down. Dirty floors and dirty walls and dirty kitchen utensils. The worst part was that it is infested with German cockroaches. We are a family with three young children and it was not a sanitary place for us to stay. Unfortunately, we had to cut our trip early and leave after two nights because of the sanitary living conditions. We reached out to the rental company many times, text messages plus pictures. They offered to send pest control in the day we were schedule to check out. That is not an acceptable solution at all. It’s a shame that they expected us to live in those conditions for an entire week and do nothing about it . We are still waiting to hear back from Vacasa to discuss our experience. This place is not suitable for anybody to stay in. It is bug infested and dirty. It truly was a nightmare for us and our young children. We are hoping to hear back from the company soon to offer us a reimbursement for what we had to go through.
I did not love anything about the room!!! ROACH INFESTED!! DO NOT STAY HEREEEEE!
The unit is overall very rundown and dirty with a serious roach problem. The location of the unit is great but that’s about all. Would not recommend renting till it’s thoroughly cleaned, items fixed and has had professional exterminators get rid of the roaches.
The view, standing up from our balcony... because sitting in the chairs offered was a joke!
Being a frequent flyer to Topsail, I can highly recommend this condo. The grounds and pool are very well maintained. It is much nicer than St. Regis. It is spacious and stayed very cool during the stay. The mattresses were comfortable and we had ample extra towels and linens. The view is amazing from the balcony. You must climb one flight of stairs inside the condo as it is technically a 4th floor unit, so take that into consideration. Pool opens in April and is open until 11pm. The kitchen was well-equipped including special utensils for seafood -Topsail Steamer is a must for every trip. It is very close to Sneads Ferry to pick up any forgotten items. There are a couple of beach chairs in the front closet and some beach toys as well. The living room does come with Roku Streaming. I would HIGHLY recommend this condo!
