Good location
Location next to the tennis courts for playing in event at the tennis courts is unbelievable plan to stay here again
The location adjacent to the tennis courts was absolutely ideal and incredibly convenient for us given that we were there for a tennis tournament. The unit itself was a little bit dark inside, not too many windows. The air conditioning system worked fantastic however there was a little bit of a smell so I checked the filter and it needed replacing badly. There was a spare filter there but it did not fit the unit so we were unable to replace it. On arrival when we went to make coffee for the next morning the old filter with grounds was in there and had been in there for a long time and mold had started to grow in it so we had to clean the entire coffee maker. The internet and Wi-Fi was not working in we could not get it fixed. However turns out it was a Xfinity area outage. Once it came back on the next morning the Wi-Fi and cable worked very well. The surface light probably the light bulbs did not work above the cooktop. Not sure why the property managers can't check something that basic. The place was minimally stocked. Many places we go to have some basic staple items in the kitchen like olive oil salt and pepper and a few other basic inexpensive things but this place did not have any. Not really a critique because we get that it will vary from rental to rental. There were adequate utensils to meet our needs. Other than the aforementioned coffee maker the place was quite clean. The bathtub area is very tired and there was mold growing on the on/off water knob in the bathtub. On the inside of the glass of the knob. That's a pretty easy fix that seems have been overlooked. There is a small room with a Murphy bed that is not tied into the central AC. There is a portable AC unit and there was mold all over it. The outdoor porch was great and the chairs out there were relatively new and very comfortable and we appreciated that they had covers that we could put on at night to avoid moisture developing and that allowed us to sit out there with the morning sun with our coffee. We really like that. The best part of this place is the location if you're there to play tennis couldn't ask for a better location. As such if we play the tournament again we would consider renting the same unit for sure.
beautiful location, just further from Charleston then we thought.
