Hideaway Zen is described as spacious, beautifully updated, and thoughtfully designed, offering a comfortable retreat that works especially well for families and groups. Guests consistently praised the comfortable beds, generous sleeping space, roomy living areas, full bathrooms, lovely decor, natural light, and a well-equipped kitchen that made cooking easy. The property was repeatedly noted as very clean, quiet, and serene, with soft linens and a home-like feel that supported a relaxing stay. Its location was a standout, with easy access to La Jolla, nearby beaches, shops, restaurants, coffee spots, and local attractions, and many guests appreciated being able to walk to the beach and town. Guests also enjoyed pleasant views from the living area, along with access to features such as the pool, hot tub, grill, washer and dryer, and beach gear that added convenience to the stay. Fast wifi and family-friendly touches were appreciated, and many guests said they would gladly return to Hideaway Zen.

It was a good location as it’s close to many of San Diego’s attractions. The neighborhood feels safe. Parking is unfortunately not great. It’s hard to find a parking spot after coming home after a day of exploring and playing. It’s worth considering ubering or anther pay to ride. It was a clean, comfortable and well furnished condo. Had a minor ant problem. Loved having the pool and hot tub available as well.

This place is adorable and super comfortable with lots of space. We are glad we didn’t rent a car as the parking is tough. Also, surprisingly, there was no shampoo and no salt and pepper which was surprising. When I messaged about the shampoo they said it wasn’t a covered amenity. It was awesome they had a wagon, towels, and beach chairs for the beach!

Spacious and clean unit, great for cooking. Parking was challenging. Hot tub worked well. Must navigate the complex from the map at the front of entryway.
