QUIETNESS!!

Unit was very clean, and only a short walk to the beach. Would definitely return.

This condo was large and comfortable, the three full bedrooms give you a lot of space. The kitchen and furnishings were all good and workable. Kitchen had everything you needed to cook. Do keep in mind this home has no water view, even though it is close to the beach, it is behind and lower then beachfront buildings in front of it. The bed mattresses were old - they seem to be memory foam, which has hardened up over time, making them not very soft. We did notice the unit is for sale. The HOA is not keeping up on the exterior - all the outside lights were burned out, making it difficult to come and go at night - we had to use flashlights to get in and out. The sprinkler system was broken and flooded the entryway. All that said, it was still a good stay and I would still recommend the place, but maybe not at a super high price point.

309 Sailmaker was one of the two adjacent condos where our large family gathered for a wedding in Fernandina and reception closeby. The location was perfect. Annette (the local Vacasa representative) was very helpful and quick to respond. We really enjoyed our stay.

The location is amazing, but the old carpeting throughout the 2nd floor made the house feel dingy/unclean. Overall the house is outdated and it is in need of maintenance in the tub/shower areas. One shower clogged immediately, creating a pool of water to stand in as you shower. The couches seem new and were very comfortable. The deck was shady and lovely. The walk to the beach is also very nice. Air conditioning was great and internet was strong. Be advised there are no beach chairs (just folding soccer chairs), no beach towels, and no umbrella....I should have read the fine print as I would have rented these things had I known.
